Slating

Slate is a natural product and has been used to cover properties for centuries. This beautiful material is millions of years old, it is extremely hard wearing and when laid correctly will provide a watertight textured roof.

Slate is dressed to many different sizes, the most common being 10” x 20”. Being a natural product having many variations in texture and colour it is necessary to provide an expert eye for the overall look of the completed project.

We have been using slate on our clients’ roofs for over 20 years. Lichgates, cart sheds, garages, terraced houses to manor houses have all been covered with natural Welsh slate by our craftsmen.
